Hot Springs has much to offer for recreation. It is located in the foothills of the Ozarks, making for some glorious hiking, and is surrounded by three large lakes for the swimming, boating and fishing enthusiast.

Hot Springs is actually near the heart of the Ouachita Mountains (pronounced Wash-it-ah), not the foothills of the Ozarks.
